How to set up your work hours and add time-off?

Learn how to customize your availability.

Setting up your work hours


  • Go to the Availability page.
  • You’ll see a similar weekly calendar as in the Calendar tab, but in Availability, you can select time slots when you’re available for lessons. Those will repeat every week.
  • Click and drag to create a solid time slot, for example, every day from 8:00 till 19:00, or, if your work hours are more fluid, just click on a single hour slot to create separate periods.
  • To delete a slot, right-click on it and then click Delete slot.

 

  • If you have an emergency and need to cancel the upcoming lessons, you can take time off over a certain period of time, and we will notify your students about this.


How to add time-off?


You can add time-off in case you have an emergency or if you are on vacation. Students will not be able to schedule lessons at the specified time. Time-off can be of any duration and can be scheduled for any time of the day or even for the whole day/week. Time-off is non-recurring - it only blocks off the specified time.


  • Click on the Add time-off button.
  • Select the period you want to mark as unavailable. Keep in mind that if you have lessons already scheduled for this period, they will be canceled.
  • You can name the time off for your convenience, and type a comment, which will be sent to students if their lessons will be canceled.
  • Click Add time-off button, and you’ll see this time period marked in light pink in your Calendar.
