What is not allowed?
It is prohibited to share any contact information while exchanging messages before the payment of the first lesson. Contact information includes any details that can be used by a tutor or a student to get in touch outside the platform, which includes but is not limited to:
- Phone numbers
- Emails
- Skype names
- The exact location where the lessons will be conducted (house number, entrance, flat)
- Nicknames in social networks
- External links (sharing internal Taketutor website links via private messages is allowed)
It is forbidden to share links to other websites. User's profile will be blocked for sending links to other platforms. However, the exchange of internal Taketutor links via private messages is allowed.
The following are also prohibited on our platform:
- Posting advertisements or recruitment announcements searching for employees, or sending such content via Taketutor messaging system.
- Violation of well-established social norms and rules including inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, and fraud.
Each complaint about a certain user shall be investigated individually by the Taketutor team and strict action will be imposed according to our policies.
Penalties
- Violation of these rules will result in blocking of the profile.
- For repeated or severe violations of these rules, the profile will be blacklisted and removed from the platform.
Additional rules
- Taketutor reserves the sole right to assess, resolve, and make decisions regarding the above-mentioned rule violations as well as other disputes involving users of the platform or Taketutor.com itself.
- Taketutor is not responsible for any kind of fees charged by payment systems and will not cover them when initiating a refund.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, any refunds at any time are at our sole discretion only.
